Our Story

Past & Present

Offering childcare since the early 1990's, Little Cubs was founded upon a Christian ethos and started as part of a church in the town of Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. Today that mission continues and Glow Church is proud to play a part in providing high quality full sessional day care from birth to school age children at our purpose built facility in Newton Aycliffe.

Passionate About Childcare

We believe that children’s early years are the most important of their lives and we are passionate about childcare and providing high quality teaching to ensure that each child progresses towards reaching their potential. Our goal is simple; to help every child leave our care as independent, confident, thinkers and achievers.

We strive to give our children a sense of belonging by creating a warm, homely, nurturing environment with strong positive role models and relationships, creating memories along the way.

Above all we want our children to play, explore, discover, learn, achieve, thrive, and have FUN.

Exceptional Facilites

Our facilities are exceptional with age specific rooms and gardens designed for fun activities, where our professional team can best deliver an inclusive and engaging curriculum. Our spaces include gardens for the children to play in as well as our larger fields across the Glow campus.

Aiming High

Every part of Little Cubs is aimed at delivering excellent care and an experience that will keep your little ones wanting to come back for more.
